Noise Monitoring

Aircraft noise levels around Perth Airport are monitored through the Noise and Flight Path Monitoring System (NFPMS) operated by Airservices Australia.

The Perth NFPMS operates 24 hours a day and consists of six (6) fixed aircraft noise monitors located within the following surrounding communities:

Lathlain
Cannington
Guildford
Queens Park
Beechboro
Greenmount

Noise monitoring data is used to develop quarterly noise reports for Perth Airport which are available on the Airservices Australia website.
